5-DAY / 4-NIGHT (SAMPLE ITINERARY)
ARRIVALS + LODGE CHECK-IN
Day 1 is built around arrival windows. Guests are picked up in Missoula as schedules allow, with an optional lunch stop before the drive to Hall, Montana. After check-in at Tomahawk Lodge, the group settles in, meets the team, and receives a safety and welcome brief. If time permits, we’ll add a light introductory session—either a short range warm-up or a property orientation. The evening wraps with a hosted dinner at Tomahawk Lodge and a relaxed fireside kickoff.
Day One
FLAT RANGE: PISTOL & CARBINE
After breakfast at the lodge, Day 2 is dedicated to the flat range. The focus is practical skill-building with pistol and carbine—fundamentals, safe handling, and drills tailored to the group. Lunch is provided, followed by continued range time and coaching based on individual goals. Catered dinner at Tomahawk Lodge and an easy evening to unwind.
Day Two
PRECISION RIFLE & LONG-RANGE SHOOTING (KD to 1 mile)
Day 3 centers on precision rifle fundamentals and long-range shooting on the known distance (KD) range, working out toward a mile as conditions and shooter comfort allow. Depending on what the group wants, the day can also be split to include time on the high-angle range for elevated terrain shooting and a different problem set. That evening, the group heads to Copper Queen for dinner and drinks—an authentic local hangout in the heart of the Helmville Valley.
Day Three
OPTION OF MORE SHOOTING OR MONTANA EXPERIENCES
Day 4 is fully customizable. Guests can choose more shooting (flat range, KD, and/or high-angle) or opt into a Montana experience based on season and weather—fly fishing, a river float, horseback riding, hiking, land navigation, skiing, or ice fishing. The day ends back at Tomahawk Lodge with an Alaskan King Crab boil and a fireside chat.
Day Four
OPTIONAL MORNING RANGE SESSION + DEPARTURE
After breakfast and pack-out, there’s an option for a short final range session if flight times allow—perfect for a skills refresher, a few last reps, or photos on the line. Depart for Missoula with transportation scheduled around flight times.
